One book I'm glad not everyone knows about....
You have no idea how good/bad the poker players in your group are until you read this book. If you have been playing poker for a while prior to reading this book then you will start to see in your mind's eye all those hands that you didn't call the bluff and all the ones where you got owned by a much better hand. This book will tell you not only why you shouldn't have called that hand, it'll also give you the confidence to raise into someones bluff, making you the owner instead of the owned... While this book doesn't tell you that you should not play dumb hands like 2 7 offsuit or 3 8 suited, when you get good at reading people you'll be able to 'put them on' hands like that as well as the AA and KK. I started reading the book 2 months ago, and I can tell you it has saved me at least a hundred dollars while it has made me 3 or 4 times that amount in a 25-50 cent blind no limit game of Texas Hold'em. I can now put someone on a hand (unless there is no rhyme or reason for their play) about 65-75% of the time. Great buy. If you want to win you must own this book.
